Who am I?

I am an artist who works in a variety of media, particularly watercolor and calligraphy. Originally from Brazil, my love of the English language brought me to the USA, where I earned a degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science. After spending some time in the corporate world, I turned back to my first love. I started this website to share my art and to serve as inspiration for others to create. 

Five Fast Facts:

  1. Prior to starting this website, I ran a photography business focused on portraits of women.

  2. I have one daughter who serves as constant artistic inspiration and a husband who encourages and supports me in every way.

  3. I mostly learned English as a second language through constantly watching MTV and writing down the lyrics. It was intense!!

  4. Ask me to wink one eye, and you will see me with both eyes closed. I can’t wink!

  5. Calligraphy practice is meditation. I can spend hours doing the same stroke over and over.
