The list

Do you have a running list of things to do when you have nothing to do? I do and you probably do too.

While as any business owner can attest to, there is alway something to do. Down time is a rare occurrence and you can become completely uninspired if you don’t take breaks here and there.

While my list may suggest that I have nothing to do, that’s far from the reality. For that reason, I look at it as “things I can work on when I am uninspired”.

I have so many interests, from website design to gardening. So I started a list to capture ideas I have that have a good chance of getting done.

This is just the first 15, and I am currently working on 2 of those when I get a chance.

Any activity on this list is low priority. And sometimes finishing one up can take months! I started building a website using wordpress and bricks builder. Bu Bricks has a steep learning curve, especially if you have been out of the web design world for years. I spent 5 hours straight working on it, and felt I’d got it. Only to not touch it again for 3 weeks and forget everything. Maybe I need more practice learning new technology? I just couldn’t remember how I got certain things to look the way they did. Now I have to start over and take notes.

While this list is low priority, one thing that I want to ensure is that there is always something I am going to learn in the process. I love learning and problem-solving and that’s a must in anything I do.

Happy Birthday Kurt
